About Mini-Workouts
“This is the sort of book one wants to have in vast quantities
to hand out in the street. Take this, read this, change your life.”
—Rosanne Hodin, Author
Small, practical movements that add up to meaningful change
Mini-Workouts are quick sets of exercises for you to link to activities that are already part of your everyday routines.
For the most part, they don’t add any time to your schedule, but are something useful you can do while waiting…waiting…waiting… for something or someone. In a few cases, you might add a few seconds or a minute to a regularly performed activity, but in no case do these require a big chunk of time. Being as strong as an Olympian may not be in your near future, but kind-of fit and way less jiggly are absolutely within reach. You can start to see noticeable improvements in muscle tone very quickly with modest but consistent — repeat, consistent — effort. Over time, these small movements build momentum supporting strength, stamina, better sleep, and a greater sense of self-confidence.
The “recipes” below simply illustrate how everyday movement choices can lead to very different outcomes, and how even modest activity can help shift you toward feeling healthier, more capable, and more at ease in your daily life.

Meet yourself where you are right now and just put one foot in front of the other — both literally and figuratively.
